As a lifelong learner, I and so many educators relate to this identity. As an educator, you pour yourself into others, into your "identity", and in the process we forget that we are multifaceted beings. We are more than our job title.
We are mothers, we are daughters, we are artists, and more.

We have many layers, all of which need to be nurtured. When one area is not fulfilled, we try to fill it by pouring into another. Trying to be perfect in one area to make up for where we are lacking in another, we may not even realize it’s happening.

Stressors build, overwhelm sets in and we eventually burnout. But it can all be prevented.
